Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice

We have been to this arena numerous times and my son is quite comfortable, except for one thing. He can not go up the stairs to sit in the seats. So when we arrive we go to the box office to see if there are any accessible seats available and if there are, we exchange the tickets. We wait till the day of the show so that we do not risk taking the only seats that someone else with a disability would have needed. We had a great time and he really enjoyed the show. We will go again!

Tips for an ice show

  • Bring a jacket and wear long pants. It is cold near the ice.  Some people even bring blankets.
  • Bring a pocket flash light as the arena normally goes dark a few times during the show. You can also bring glow in the dark items like bracelets, toys and necklaces.
  • Plan purchases before you go. There are vendors everywhere offering to sell you anything from a program to a hat, drink, toy, etc. To avoid a meltdown determine a plan on what you will buy beforehand.
  • Bring earplugs or ear protection if needed. The shows can be loud and so can the audience.
  • Be prepared to leave early. These shows are normally at night and go till after bedtime. Half way through at intermission is a good time to go or 5 minutes before the show ends to beat the crowd.
